Hey, Friend!
I was on a plane recently, scrolling TikTok like you do at 30,000 feet, when a creator named Jonathan Brisco (@jonathan.brisco6) stopped me mid-scroll. (Check out the video here.)
He said: "You've been a student for much too long. Now, teach."
And then, he said: "You're overfed on inspiration but starving in execution. You're full of ideas but still empty on action."
He had me clutching my pearls because why are you calling me out like that?!?!
For years, that was me. (And even now, I slip back into "Think, No Do" mode every now and then because #human.)
Taking the classes. Getting the certifications. Reading the books. Listening to the podcasts. Filling the notebooks. Planning and researching and preparing.
Always learning, rarely doing. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I convinced myself I was being responsible. Thorough. That I was almost ready. Just one more thing and then I'd be ready to step into what God had called me to do.
But "almost ready" has a way of never actually turning into ready.
