Hey Friend!
By the time you read this, I'll be in Japan. (YAY!)
And honestly? Getting here has been a journey in itself.
Not the packing or the planning. The mental part.
Because the days leading up to this trip were anything but quiet.
Life has been loud. Heavy, even.
The kind of heavy that makes it hard to feel fully excited about something you've been looking forward to for a long time.
I'm an overthinker. A planner. My brain is always three steps ahead, running contingencies, solving problems that haven't happened yet. And last week it was working overtime.
Last Friday, only three days before we headed out, two different people said the same thing to me, completely unprompted:
Stop stressing. Enjoy your trip. Don't even think about it. Deal with it when you get back.
Two people. Same message. Same day.
I don't believe in coincidences so I'm choosing to listen.
And I want to pass that same permission along to you.
