Perfectionism and procrastination aren't opposites. They're the same wolf in sheep's clothing.
One says "I'm not doing it." The other says "I'm doing everything except the actual thing."
But the result? Identical.
Nothing moves. Nobody is served. The idea sits exactly where you left it, just with better branding.
Sound familiar?
Part of my planning is legitimate because my ADHD brain genuinely needs structure.
But if I'm being really honest, a major part of it was fear.
Fear of getting it wrong. Of being caught unprepared. Of going all in on something that matters this much and discovering it still isn't enough.
Maybe your version looks different. The course you've been designing for two years. The coaching offer you keep refining but never pricing. The book outline you've rewritten four times.
Different project. Same hiding.
Here's the harder question: Are you building what you were called to build? Or are you just building a really good hiding place?
Those are not the same thing.
